Every land and construction project needs material moved, whether that means bringing in fill dirt to build up a site, delivering gravel for a driveway, or hauling millings for a parking area. Jones Land Services provides trucking services for residential and commercial clients across Central Florida, delivering the materials your project needs on time and to the right location.

What We Haul

Our trucking services cover three primary material types. Fill dirt is used to raise elevation, build house pads, backfill trenches, and reshape terrain. Gravel is delivered for driveways, drainage layers, road bases, and structural fill. Millings, which are recycled asphalt, are commonly used for driveways, parking areas, and access roads where a hard, compacted surface is needed without the cost of fresh paving.

We deliver these materials in the quantities your project requires, whether that is a few loads for a residential driveway or a sustained delivery schedule for a commercial construction site.

Who This Service Is For

Trucking services are for anyone who needs bulk material delivered to or removed from a property. Homeowners working on driveways, yards, and lot improvements use our trucking regularly. Contractors and developers rely on us for fill dirt and gravel during site prep and construction. And commercial property owners hire us for parking lot millings and base material.

If you are already working with us on land clearing, site prep, or another service, we can roll the trucking into the same project so everything stays coordinated.

Serving St. Cloud and Central Florida

We run trucking routes throughout Central Florida from our home base in St. Cloud. Whether your project is in Orlando, Kissimmee, Melbourne, Sanford, or anywhere within about 150 miles, we deliver.

Commonly Paired Services

Trucking is one of those services that touches almost everything else we do. Land clearing often requires debris removal and fill material. Site preparation depends on fill dirt and gravel deliveries. Grading and excavation projects need material hauled in or out. If you are hiring us for any type of land or site work, there is a good chance trucking is part of the equation.

Trucking FAQs

Q: How much fill dirt or gravel do I need for my project?

A: That depends on the size of the area and the depth of material required. We can help you estimate the quantity during a site visit or based on the project dimensions you provide. It is better to get an accurate number upfront than to order too little or too much.

Q: What is the difference between millings and gravel for a driveway?

A: Millings are recycled asphalt that compact into a firm, dark surface similar to pavement. Gravel is loose stone that provides good drainage but does not compact as tightly. Millings are often the better choice for driveways and parking areas that need a hard surface. Gravel works well for drainage layers and lighter-use areas.

Q: Do you deliver on weekends?

A: We operate Monday through Saturday, 6 AM to 6 PM. Deliveries can be scheduled within those hours based on project needs and availability.

Q: Can you deliver to a construction site that is already active?

A: Yes. We regularly deliver to active construction sites and coordinate with other crews on-site to make sure the material goes where it needs to go without disrupting the workflow.

Q: How quickly can you deliver once I place an order?

A: Delivery timing depends on material availability and our current schedule. In many cases, we can get material to your site within a few days of confirming the order. For time-sensitive projects, let us know your deadline and we will do our best to meet it.
